We sell glitter to some of the biggest names in custom flooring in the US. They love our glitters and we have never had a complaint about any of them. We do have some lines that we recommend over others for professional installation. We have placed the ones that have passed numerous tests with multiple flooring mediums in their own special section of the website- https://www.bulkglitters.com/Glitter_For_Floors.html
Water Based- The glitters that we sell that are metallic or holographic can be used in waterbased mediums. However, you should mix the glitter in and then immediately pour or apply. Do not put the glitter and then store it. The aluminum coating can have a reaction with the water in the product, and off-gassing can occur.
Solvent Based- All the glitters in this section can handle a variety of industrial chemical contact https://www.bulkglitters.com/Glitter_For_Floors.html
Epoxy- All the glitters in the floor section and most of the rest of the glitters we sell on the site, work well in epoxy. These glltters you can buy without really needing to test- https://www.bulkglitters.com/Glitter_For_Floors.html If you see colors you like outside of this section of the site, they may still work with your epoxy brand- just test first.
UV Resistance Note- Not all the glitters have UV resistance. If you are seeing a glitter in this section- https://www.bulkglitters.com/Glitter_For_Floors.html then they all have a decent UV resistant coating. If you see colors outside of that section of the site, you will want to check the description to see if it has UV resistance. Not all of them do so be sure to check.
Final Note: A floor is a big investment and super hard to fix. Please take your time to get samples and run tests. When you are buying large amounts of glitter to do a floor, we may not accept it back as a return. We have a limited return policy on bulk sales. It is lot less expensive to sample and test then it is to get stuck with glitter you cannot use or even worse, ripping out a floor. Please sample and test!
