The internet and Youtube are chock-full of great examples and tutorials on how to do glitter nails. What we want to cover here is what type of glitters to use and not use and why.

Craft Glitter- DO NOT USE! Yes, the price is wonderful, but as soon as it hits the nail polish it will melt or bleed. It is not solvent resistant at all.

Acrylic Glitter- OK for using with acrylic or gel nail systems only. It is not solvent resistant so it will melt and bleed if you mix it into nail polish.

Polyester Glitter- OK for acrylic, gels and nail polish. Most polyester glitters are solvent resistant. Some colors may bleed a bit so test, test test!

In our Shop By Usage section of the site we isolate out the glitters for each system- https://www.bulkglitters.com/Glitter_For_Nails.html
